Yi Ren is a San Francisco–based queer comedian and writer. Originally from China, he works in big tech by day and performs stand-up at night to practice English. His comedy mixes sharp observations about American life with bold irreverence, taking on identity, culture, and the absurd.
He has opened for Jaboukie Young-White, Kristin Key, and Juno Birch. His festival credits include SF Sketchfest and the Bergamot Comedy Festival. The Bay Area Reporter has once called him "funny."
